This is nayuta's first vinyl LP work since its formation in 2003. It has been 9 years since the last nationwide release of "miraklo rakonto". During that time, while releasing independent works, the band went through member changes and shifted its style to a more musical one, and now, five years after becoming the current members, it has finally created a new work.

The title "ripeto" means "repetition" in Esperanto, and the A-side represents the daytime when the sun rises and the B-side the nighttime when the moon rises. Just as the light and darkness repeat themselves day after day, changing little by little and revealing new discoveries, this record also has gimmicky details that are interesting to discover through repeated listening.

The recording of this album was done at AJITO, a DIY studio that nayuta always uses, with engineer Shinya Ogino, who brought in his own equipment. Recorded with only what they have and in their own place, this sound source is the very essence of nayuta as it is today.

2003年の結成以来nayuta初のアナログレコード作品。前回の全国展開「miraklo rakonto」発売から9年。その間に自主作品を発表しながらメンバーチェンジを経て、作風をより音楽的にシフトしていき、今回現在のメンバーになって5年目にしてようやく新作品を作り上げた。

タイトルにもなっている「ripeto」とは エスペラント語で「繰り返し」という意味。A面で太陽が登る日の当たる日中を、B面では月のでる夜の間を表現した。毎日繰り返す光と闇、少しずつ変化していき 新しい発見がある日々のように、このレコードにも細部にギミックがあり、繰り返し聞くことで発見する面白さもある。

本作の録音はnayutaがいつも使っているDIYスタジオ「AJITO」にエンジニア、荻野真也氏を迎え、機材を持ち込んで録音された。 自分たちの持っているものだけで、そして自分たちだけの場所で録音されたこの音源は、いまのnayutaそのものである。
